Rooms are very comfortable and breakfast is great.
A lot of noise from the corridor, other guests going to bed woke me up three times during the night.
The room was excellent, check in check out very corteous. bar service very good
We stayed over as we were at a function. The starter at the function served at 8.20 and was tasty, the main course arrived at 10.20pm. 2 hours between courses..it was like ghaving breakfast..then lunch..ridiculous
Rooms were clean and buffet breakfast was very good value. I had a meal there at night in Bar and food was very poor.
We stayed in hotel as we were attending Punchestown races, great location and comfort and value.
The room was very clean and comfortable
There was no mini bar or complimentary water in the room. I know it was the Top Gear festival weekend but I found the dinner menus extremely poor all that was available for a night time meal was burgers, pizza or curry and there was no room service of any kind.
The various restaurants are really good but a little pricey. All staff were really friendly and rooms are lovely.
My jacuzzi didnt work!!
The staff were particularly helpful. The Thai restaurant was excellent food and value for money.
I think however that we should have been warned that there was a boxing event on the weekend that we were there, as it was a little rowdy that evening and not a good place to have young children.
The location of the Hotel was great, given that a very good golf course was attached. Didn't go into Dublin itself, happy to stay in the surrounds. Rooms were very lagre and comfortable. Breakfast was self service but had a full range of options including a hot buffet, so was able to get the "full-fry" before teeing off.
Apparently the hotel and golf club is "up for sale" and as such the associated Golf Hotel in the grounds is empty. All guests are in the main hotel. I would advise everybody to get in before it is sold as everything is in A1 condition. May not be for long?
Location good for my purpose. 25 mins drive away from the Oxegen festival in Naas. Staff very helpful and courtous. Room very comfortable and well presented. Room had all required facilities T.v, kettle, hairdrier, iron. Bed was a super king, huge. Breakfast included in the room rate, and we had an excellent selection to suit all tastes. Lobby, bar and restaurant very good. Bistro restaurant seems to go all day with different menus for each time of day. 3 courses for 19.95 at lunch time. Golf course surrounds the hotel, so lovely manacured lawns and ponds, with ducks in them. Fully equiped leisure centre also included in the room rate. Free and safe parking.
Very relaxed atmosphere in hotel with several lounges & bar areas. Spacious bedroom although with over 1,000 rooms not easy to locate at first!
Hotel is a fair distance from both the airport & city centre if not travelling by car & therefore quite expensive by cab. There is a bus that stops at end of drive available from Dublin city centre, taking approx an hour.
The grounds of the hotel were very nice. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We stayed in the Swift Wing of the hotel which was nice. We stayed on the 5th floor and the rooms were very spacious, comfortable and clean.
The reception area is a little shabby and wore looking for a 4* hotel which tries to pride itself on apartent luxury. The main complaint was the food which was appalling. Myself and my friends had a 3 course meal with drinks. The quality of the beef was something you would expect from a canteen and my friends fish was cold. Been typically Irish we did not like to complain but there appeared to be numerous other tables complaining about the food also. When my friend called the waiter before she even mentioned anything about her meal, he asked "im sorry is your fish cold in the middle also" clearly many other guests also complained about the fish.
Staff were lovely and the grounds of the hotel are fantastic. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable.
The dinner in the bistro was unfortunately not very nice. Had to send basic deep fried fish back as it was still raw inside. The breakfast was ok but don't order scrambled eggs.
efficiency of staff, cleanliness, security at night ensuring no distruption to sleep and value for money
Great social atmosphere around bar area and good entertainment.bedrooms of a very high standard and food as well.
Attended a family wedding & found staff very helpful & attentive, particularly to my elderly mam at the meal. Food & service was excellent also, fab views of golf course & surrounding countryside from elevated terrace outside function room.
Prices of drink in function room & main bar were expensive even by Dublin standards.
